Yes - good stuff. Particularly like the line about new skies and stars!

I must admit to having continuing thoughts after this morning at the bandstand. What was Simeon expecting from Jesus? - the question Steve posed. What are we expecting when Jesus returns - how different will it be - expect the unexpected!!!!

I love meeting outside even when we get cold and wet. Feel somehow connected (that word is specially for Paul) with the town, the environment and the wider community.

Went to Cambridge yesterday. Saw the wonderful "clock" embedded into the wall of Corpus Christi; the locust like monster consuming time, the amazing way the pendulum and electronic face interacted, counting the seconds and minutes....all fantastic. If I ever get to build a million pound clock, I'll hire these people.
As a memento mori, I felt the very fabric of my being steadily eaten away. We need Hope!
And the good news is there are now TWO Real Tennis courts....

We've just listened to Rob Bell's talk on Blessed are the poor in spirit from the Sermon on the Mount! What can I say! It was brilliant, awesome, literally life changing!!! Great to hear an interpretation of the Beatitudes that doesn't involve the de-radicalising, spiritualising, and sanitising of Jesus' words.

Sounds like we missed something special - although are all the meetings special. I wouldn't mind hearing/reading paul's liturgy?

Tell Cait I will give her a few tips on getting rid of troublesome 'staff' ha ha ha!

Love to all, Whitby is fabulous - our 'Church' tomorrow is a walk/hike up to the ruins of the old Abbey - a striking remnant of worship past that will serve as our inspiration for prayer.

Gods blessings to all,

Tony, Frances and Charlotte x
